Hello all and welcome to the ZMODS TURBO T LIMITED WEBSITE. This site was created to share information on a very unique car; A 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T Limited. (Website established on April 30, 2003)

Here is a story on how I was united with my Buick.

Some good friends of mine and myself went to see this Turbo Buick (during Dec of 2002) that was advertised in the local Worcester area. One of my friends was interested in seeing the car to possibly purchase and I went to check out the car with him.
I went to look the car over because up here in the New England area, I was used to seeing lots of cars that claimed to be nice, but were far worse than the description indicated.
When we first saw this car, we were very impressed in how it was kept. I looked over the car, inside and underneath. It was a very clean, straight, non abused vehicle with all its special features still intact and in real good shape. The paint was decent and there was no rust to speak of.
After looking this car over and noticing all the special factory options that the car came with, I started becoming interested in it. I am one who not only admires the 80's Turbo Buick cars but I also love them fully loaded with every factory option that could have come with it. I love the fact that the car is so fast while being luxurious and looking so innocent. So unsuspecting. So "sleeper".
My friend (who was thinking of buying the Buick in the first place) and I left the Buick. He was going to contact the seller later in the week. We both pondered about the Buick and if one of us was going to buy it. My friend (after a while) wasn't sure if he was going to go for it. My urge got the best of me. When I announced (the next day) that I would go for it, he already had the paperwork in to purchase it.
It was good to see the car go to a good friend, who would take care of it but I had some lingering thoughts about what could have been mine.
After a few weeks went by, my friend (with the newly purchased Buick), found a deal on a 1987 GN. This is what he really saw himself enjoying more as the GN fit his interest better. He then offered to sell the Limited to me for the same deal he got so he could go for the GN. I ended up getting the Buick after all and he ended up getting a GN so it worked out for both of us.

I have owned this car for over 7 years now and I still have a blast driving it, while being incognito due to the cars "Sleeper" look. Being able to surprise the living daylights out of the typical car crowds around here as well as seeing the shock on their faces as I pull away from them is priceless. Stay tuned to the progress on this very special car.
